Damage CTRL's Dakota Kai is tired of waiting in line for an opportunity on WWE's main roster, and has made her feelings very clear.

During a recent Twitch stream, Kai made her case for greater singles opportunities on the main roster. While the former Women's Tag Team Champion acknowledged her opportunities in WWE NXT, she is ready to prove herself on her own on a much bigger stage.

"I've never had an opportunity as a singles competitor on a PLE. I'm not talking about NXT. You know what I mean... I'm getting like, ugh. You know that feeling where you're like [bangs the desk], 'Give me an opportunity, please, anything.' I'm crying. I'm crying because I'm so emotional about this [laughs.] No, it's my allergies. I'm not actually crying. But seriously, come on now, get behind me, bro."

Dakota Kai On WWE's Main Roster

Kai arrived on the main roster at SummerSlam 2022 and immediately aligned herself with IYO SKY and Bayley to form Damage CTRL. Ironically, her debut came mere months after she was released from WWE, supposedly as the McMahon-led administration never saw her as a potential main roster talent.

Since her official call-up, Kai has competed at six Premium Live Events and as she made clear in her Twitch stream, is yet to have a singles opportunity to shine. Instead, Kai has been part of tag-team matches alongside IYO SKY, six-woman tag matches with Damage CTRL, and the 2023 Women's Royal Rumble match. Since joining the main roster in 2022, Kai's record at PLEs currently stands at 2-4.
