The Player 2: Master of Swindlers Episode 9 Release Date, Time & Trailer

The Player 2: Master of Swindlers episode 9 will be released in July 2024 on tvN and Viki. Starring Song Seung-Hoon in the main role, the K-drama is an action-crime series about a group of swindlers who do not scam innocent people. They go after wealthy fraudsters who illegally steal money from commoners.

In the previous episode, Jung Soo-Min (Oh Yeon-So) assigned Kang Ha-Ri (Seung-Hoon) and his team a new mission. This time, they had to expose a cult leader, Lim Sang-Rik (Heo Sung-Tae), who scammed innocent people in the name of faith and belief. While Ha-Ri managed to get into the good books of Sang-Rik, the episode ended with the cult leader attacking Soo-Min.

The trailer of the upcoming episode focuses on Ha-Ri’s plan to rob Sang-Rik’s holy ground. It is the place where the cult leader keeps black money stolen from innocent followers. Watch the preview here:

The Player 2: Master of Swindlers episode 9 release date and time are Monday, July 1, 2024, at 8:50 p.m. KST on tvN. It will also be available to stream on Viki.

The drama consists of 12 episodes, airing twice a week on Mondays and Tuesdays. Hence, episode 10 will be released on July 2, 2024.

The Player 2: Master of Swindlers episode 9 trailer begins with cult leader Lim Sang-Rik entering his safe, called holy ground. In the background, Ha-Ri says, “We need to rob the holy ground to get Leader Lim.” The swindlers will take advantage of a live-streaming session where Sang-Rik interacts with his followers online.

Meanwhile, Gyu-Ri reaches out to prosecutor Do-Soo once again to convince him to help Ha-Ri on the mission. Season 1 prosecutor Jang In-Gyu will also get involved in the case. He wants Ha-Ri to look at important details about the cult leader. Towards the end, a few people attack Ha-Ri, putting his life in danger.
