Eggs, with all their goodness, are often dubbed nature's multivitamin. Even though they may have been unjustly put on the naughty list for several years, their many attributes have helped them gain popularity again. Unfortunately, depending on how we prepare them, we can often make them less beneficial.

But we can unlock all their outstanding qualities when we choose the correct fat and pan. Watch this double board-certified doctor's flawless technique in a video shared on June 22:

Everything in our modern world seems to be made with a ridiculous amount of toxins. Whether it's our plastic utensils or our Teflon-coated pans, we consume more of these man-made substances than we should. And unless you're a chef, preparing something like eggs in a stainless steel pan might seem like an impossible feat. However, as Dr. Paul Saladino (@ paulsaladinomd2 ) shows us, it's actually quite simple.

A Doctor's Easy Way to Make Healthy Fried Eggs

For starters, Dr. Saladino tells us never to use a plastic spatula, especially a black one, as it will leach toxic chemicals into our food. The same goes for Teflon or other chemically coated non-stick pans.

His trick for making stainless steel non-stick? Get your stainless steel pan nice and hot. He advises us to use the mercury ball test if we want to check to see if it's ready. He shows us that the water will ball up and dance around when the pan is hot enough. Next, he adds beef tallow (fat). Once thathat'slted, he adds the eggs. When they were done to his liking, he slid them from the pan onto a plate and topped them with sea salt. Easy enough! Who knew you could so easily make stainless steel non-stick?

    Nutrients Found in Eggs

Eggs have many benefits and are a well-known source of high-quality protein. Each egg has six easily digestible grams and only 70 calories. They are also rich in amino acids and contain all nine. While egg whites are often popular among dieters, half the protein is found in the yolk and heart health fat, so don’t skip those golden centers. Not to mention, they taste delightful! They also contain nutrients like B vitamins, selenium, choline, and iodine. With their high protein and exceptional nutrient profile, they are essential for building strong muscles, and they are also satiating, helping us to feel full. This can be beneficial for overall weight management.

Every time the topic of eggs arises, my appetite kicks in. Fortunately, I planned ahead and made egg cups for the week, which I’Il be eating soon.
