These NJ pizzerias are headed to this year's all-you-can-eat One Bite Pizza Festival

Pizza fans, save the date of Saturday, Sept. 14.

That's when the One Bite Pizza Festival, which debuted in 2023, returns for its second year. The festival, led by Dave Portnoy of YouTube's "One Bite Pizza Reviews" series, will bring together nearly three dozen of the best pizzerias from New Jersey, New York and Connecticut at Randall's Island Park in New York City.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, June 28.

These eight New Jersey pizzerias were chosen to participate:

• Angeloni’s Restaurant & Pizzeria in Caldwell
• Brooklyn Square Pizza in Jackson, Toms River and Manalapan
• Bunny's Sports Bar in South Orange
• Calabria Pizzeria & Restaurant in Livingston
• De Lorenzo's Tomato Pies in Robbinsville Township
• Federici's Family Restaurant in Freehold Borough
• Lillo's Tomato Pies in Hainesport
• Santillo’s Brick Oven Pizza in Elizabeth.

Portnoy has reviewed more than 1,000 pizzerias nationwide and abroad, awarding each a score on a scale of 1 to 10. The New Jersey pizzerias chosen for the festival received scores between 8.3 (Santillo's and Bunny's) and 9.2 (De Lorenzo's).

Tickets for the One Bite Pizza Festival cost $149.99 and include all-you-can-eat pizza, access to an Italian dessert village, and interactive activities. There will be two sessions to choose from: 12:30 to 4 p.m., and 6 to 10 p.m.

Proceeds will benefit Santillo's, which burned down in January. The fire destroyed the restaurant, and the water used trying to save it damaged its brick oven.

"I told (Santillo) when it burned down, I'd be there to make sure he has the cash to rebuild it," Portnoy shared on Instagram. "He is an institution. So you're not only supporting all the local pizzerias, but you're helping rebuild a legendary spot."
