Trump Begins Debate Day By Raging Against Fox News for Allowing ‘Biden People’ to Spew ‘Lies’

Former President and presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump appears to be spending the morning preceding Thursday night’s pivotal presidential debate monitoring Fox News.

In a signature all-caps Truth Social post, Trump expressed his deep disapproval of America’s Newsroom anchor Dana Perino’s interview with Michael Tyler , the communications director for President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign.

“WHY DOES FOXNEWS PUT ON SO MANY BIDEN PEOPLE, LIKE MICHAEL TYLER,
COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR FOR BIDEN, WHO SPEWED LIES WITH VERY LITTLE PUSHBACK?” asked the incredulous former president before marveling at the supposed phenomenon. “AMAZING!!!”

During her interview with Tyler, Perino pushed the campaign spokesman on a number of issues, including recent polling indicating that Trump leads Biden, Van Jones’s speculation that a poor performance from Biden could mean it’s “game over” for the incumbent, and Biden’s declining popularity among Black voters. At one point, Perino objected to Tyler’s assertion that Trump was personally responsible for the economic damage wrought by the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020

“Would President Biden have kept businesses open during the pandemic?” interjected Perino.

Toward the end of the interview, Perino praised Tyler, telling him “You represent your boss very well and make a good case,” perhaps drawing Trump’s ire in the process.

Trump has frequently targeted Fox for its coverage over the last few years and has ramped up his attacks in recent days. In another Truth Social post last week, Trump  declared that “Nobody can ever trust Fox News, and I am one of them, with the weak and ineffective RINO, Paul Ryan , on its Board of Directors.”

He continued :

He’s a total lightweight, a failed and pathetic Speaker of the House, and a very disloyal person. Romney was bad, but Paul Ryan made him look worse. As a team, they never had a chance. Rupert and Lachlan, get that dog off your Board – You don’t need him. ALL YOU NEED IS TRUMP. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

Trump also panned a Fox News poll indicating that Biden had a narrow lead over him released last week, deeming it “TRASH.”

“Fox News polls have never treated me, or MAGA, fairly!” he added.
