The Bear star Jeremy Allen White has shared how awkward it is when fans call him 'chef ' in front of his daughters.

The actor shares adorable Ezer, 5, and Dolores, three, with ex-wife Addison Timlin. Jeremy Allen White has spoken about his kids' reaction to seeing him on The Bear.

He told Entertainment Tonight: "It's confusing and strange , but they know about the show." He was speaking about fans approaching him in public and calling him chef.

Jeremy confirmed his young daughters haven't seen the show in its entirety yet. He said: "Well my oldest, Ezzy, actually she really enjoys the first like two minutes of the pilot episode, which is just me getting scared by a bear and falling on my butt. She'll watch that a lot. But that's all of the show she has seen."

The season three premiere of The Bear saw a tense reunion between Sydney (portrayed by Ayo Edebiri) and Carmy (Jeremy Allen White).

The acclaimed FX drama picked up exactly where the second series ended, with it being released on Wednesday on Disney+ and Hulu.

The opening night of the new restaurant saw tensions rise, with everything going according to plan until Carmy finds himself trapped in the fridge.

Following a heated dispute with his cousin Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), Carmy is heartbroken to discover he missed a voicemail from Claire (Molly Gordon), leading him to question if the stress of running a kitchen is too much for his personal life.

During this scene, Sydney gives Carmy a strained look as they confide in each other.

Carmy may be finding it difficult to express his true feelings for Claire, who declared her love for him in the voicemail, or perhaps he's admitting the pressure he's under as Head Chef of The Bear.

Fans have been clued in not to harbor any hopes for a budding romance between the duo in the upcoming season.

Both Ayo and Jeremy firmly quashed the idea of a romantic plot for Carmy and Sydney with a resounding "No" when probed about it.

"There was no talk in the rooms about any romantic implications," Jeremy clarified, shutting down the speculation.

Whilst their official status as business partners means the new season won't feature love in the air, there's still plenty of excitement and unexpected turns to await from their interactions.

Ayo detailed how the dynamic will unfold, saying per Vanity Fair, "Carmy is somebody that I think she's really looked up to, but now is sort of in the thick of doing business with."
