A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Trailer: Popular BookTok YA Novel Gets a Series

BookTok viral book A Good Girl's Guide to Murder is heading to Netflix in the form of a six-episode series, with Wednesday star Emma Myers leading as Pip Fitz-Amobi.

Adapted from Holly Jackson's young adult novel, A Good Girl's Guide to Murder 's official synopsis reads:

Five years ago, schoolgirl Andie Bell was murdered by her boyfriend Sal Singh. Case closed. The police know he did it. Everyone in town knows he did it. But smart and single minded Pip Fitz-Amobi isn't so sure and she's determined to prove it. And if Sal Singh isn't a murderer and the real killer is still out there, how far will they go to keep Pip from the truth?

Actor Dolly Wells serves as director on the series, making it her second directorial effort following her 2019 debut Good Posture , with Poppy Cogan adapting the series from the book to screen.

Netflix has revealed the first trailer, which introduces us to our main players.

Myers is joined by Zain Iqbal, Anna Maxwell Martin, Gary Beadle, Mathew Baynton, India Lillie Davies, Rahul Pattni, Henry Ashton, Mitu Panicucci, Orla Hill, Ephraim O.P. Sampson, Carla Woodcock, Yasmin Al-Khudhairi, Jackson Bews, Jessica Webber, Matthew Khan, Georgia Aaron, Oliver Wickham, Adam Astill and Annabel Mullion.

A Good Girl's Guide to Murder will be available to stream on Netflix from August 1.
