‘Come On Big Man!’ Swalwell Picks a Fight With House Republican And Dares Him to Make a Motion to Impeach Biden

Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) needled his Republican colleagues on Thursday during a House hearing and badgered them to finally put forward a motion to impeach President Joe Biden.

“I’ll yield to anyone who will tell me when you are bringing your impeachment vote. If anyone wants to tell me. Because you promised the American people you were going to impeach President Biden,” Swalwell fumed.

“So bring it. I’ll yield, bring it. Come on. You promised the American people. Bring it. Don’t screw around with them,” he continued as Rep. Dan Bishop (R-NC) decided to take the bait.

“I’ll be glad to speak to that,” Bishop interjected.

“Yeah. Do you have a vote, Mr. Bishop?” Swalwell demanded. “Okay, make the motion.”

“Here’s the answer,” Bishop tried to reply as Swalwell kept going, “Make the motion.”

“You didn’t ask me to make a motion. You asked me to talk to you and answer you,” Bishop said as Swalwell continued.
“Was it a question you wanted answered?” Bishop said as Swalwell prodded, “You are a big man, right? You talking about impeaching the president? Bring the motion.”

“I’ll be glad to answer your question. If you want an answer,” Bishop replied as Swalwell added, “Come on big man!”
“You mean you don’t want an answer?” Bishop said.

“Come on, Bish, bring the motion. Stop wasting our time. You’re wasting our time,” Swalwell added.

Bishop finally said, “Here’s the answer. As soon as you stop stonewalling the investigation, we will get to the next step.”

“You got nothing. You guys got nothing because Joe Biden has been acquitted. And this is just a pathetic, pathetic post-game of a exercise that yielded nothing. This is embarrassing. It’s embarrassing. And it’s a waste of time,” raged Swalwell.
