A woman identified as Zhanae on her social media platforms is going viral after claiming to be Victoria Monét ‘s half-sister. She first revealed the alleged relation by responding to a post Monét shared about their alleged dad.
The whole thing went down on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday (June 26). About two hours after her initial claims, Zhanae offered additional details via TikTok. Victoria Monét has yet to publicly respond to the 23-year-old.
Here’s The Post That Sparked The Viral Claims
As mentioned, Victoria’s post on June 16 is what led to the half-sister’s claims. In her post, Monét revealed that it was her “first” Father’s Day with her dad and shared a photo of them embracing.
“spending our first Father’s Day together ever, a real blessing! The little girl in me is so happyyyyyy. healing,” she wrote, adding several emojis.
Prior to Father’s Day, she revealed the rekindling of the daddy-daughter relationship in her 20s. She’s now 35. She told Angela Yee on her ‘Way Up’ show in August 2023 that she had also met one of her sisters after her mother had raised her as an only child. However, it’s unclear if that sister is Zhanae, given that posts seemingly suggest they’ve never met.

Here’s What Victoria Monet’s Alleged Half-Sister Claims
In just 16 hours, Zhanae’s response to Victoria’s post has already garnered over 8.2 million views, over 8,000 reposts, and at least 1,000 comments.
“I’m glad you got a chance to meet him finally, I’m 23 and haven’t seen him 20 years of my life…and he’s never bothered to reach out to me. Wow ANTHONY DETAMOORE or however u spell it !!! So Victoria Monet is my half sister??” she wrote adding sad-face emojis.
One of the replies to Zhanae’s comment accused her of not coming from “a good place at all” and being “out of line.” In response, Zhanae wrote , “I’m not even gone do it to you cause my good ppl already on you .. but first of all I’m not ruining any moment if you watch my TikTok video u will hear me say I’m happy for her I’m glad she got a chance to heal because I never did.”
Victoria Monét’s alleged half-sister responded to the same critic a second time. She explained her decision to publicly speak out.
“& 2nd off my story deserves to be heard too how dare u spend time with ur other kids on Father’s Day like u are bettering your life and u have other kids out here. And I have reached out when I was younger he was not interested so u think imma reach out again ??? CRAZY.”
Zhanae Gives More Context On The Dad Situation
Amid the innanet unloading their mixed reactions (swipe below to see), the alleged half-sister took to TikTok with more details.
The 23-year-old shared that her maternal brother and sister’s dad — meaning her stepfather– raised her. She clarified that she hadn’t seen her biological father in the last 20 years, at around age three.
“And when I saw him when I was like three years old, it was only for 20 minutes. Never heard from him on a birthday, never heard from him on a holiday. I never heard from him, period,” she said.
Additionally, Zhanae explained that her mother first brought Victoria Monét’s X post to her attention. She added that she was only aware of one other paternal sister, who was in college during her childhood.
“To the man in the picture…how are you even comfortable knowing that you still have a kid out here that you’ve never even bothered to meet, never even bothered to meet me, check on me, nothing!”
Zhanae, again, expressed that she’s “happy” Victoria Monét got a chance to spend time with him. As for their alleged father, the 23-year-old said he will “never receive” his “full blessings” because of his selective parenting.
