    Broadway’s ‘Cabaret’ Announces Alternate Cast Schedule As Eddie Redmayne & Gayle Rankin Shift To Pre-Planned Seven-Performance Weeks

    As Eddie Redmayne and Gayle Rankin shift to pre-planned seven-performance weeks for Broadway’s Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club , producers have announced the summer schedule for the alternate performers playing the Emcee and Sally Bowles.

    The musical revival will continue playing the standard eight performances per week. The summer schedule and cast line-up for the show at the August Wilson Theatre through the end of August is as follows:

    • Marty Lauter (they/them; RuPaul’s Drag Race ) will play the Emcee Monday, July 15; Monday, July 22; Monday, July 29; Monday, August 5; Monday, August 19; and Monday, August 26;
    • David Merino (he/they/she; Moulin Rouge! ) will play the Emcee on Sunday, July 7 and Monday, July 8;
    • Gabi Campo (she/her; Some Like It Hot ) will play Sally Bowles on Wednesday matinee, June 26; Monday evening, July 1; and Wednesday matinee, July 10;
    • Ayla Ciccone-Burton (she/her; Six ) will play Sally Bowles on Wednesday matinee, August 12; Wednesday matinee, August 21, and Wednesday matinee, August 28;
    • Paige Smallwood (she/they; Bad Cinderella ) will play Sally Bowles on Wednesday matinee, July 17; Wednesday matinee, July 24; Wednesday matinee, July 31, and Wednesday matinee, August 7.

    Cabaret also stars Bebe Neuwirth as Fraulein Schneider, Ato Blankson-Wood as Clifford Bradshaw, Steven Skybell as Herr Schultz, Henry Gottfried as Ernst Ludwig and Natascia Diaz as Fritzie/Kost. The musical began previews at the revamped Wilson on Monday, April 1, and opened on Sunday, April 21.
