Elton John’s Latest Post Proves He’s Taking This Rising Star Under His Wing

There’s no denying that Elton John is, and will always be, music royalty . So, when he brings someone under his wing, we know it’s a big deal.

Most recently, the “Tiny Dancer” singer did just that as he showed his support for rising artist Chapell Roan by not only inviting her to dinner but posting about in on social media too. Sharing a picture of the two on Instagram ( see it HERE! ), John shared his love for the “Good Luck, Babe!” singer.

“The BEST evening of pizza and outrageous laughter with the fiercely fabulous @chappellroan ,” John wrote in the caption. “Love her, love her, love her 🚀❤️🌈.”

In the photo, John is rocking a blue printed jumpsuit with red piping and matching sneakers while Roan is wearing an all-black two-piece set with her red hair in loose waves.

In the comments, Roan reciprocated the love. “Love u so much!!!” Roan wrote.

“At first I thought oh cute she got to hang with Elton, and then realized THE SIR ELTON JOHN himself posted this. 💖 he was that excited to meet her! Amazing,” wrote one fan in the comment section. “Crossover I didn’t know I needed,” echoed another.

And while John’s stamp of approval to Roan means a lot, it’s safe to say the singer often uses his platform to showcase fellow singers.

At his most recent show at the 2024 Glastonbury Festival, for example, he brought out some exciting guest stars. Appearing onstage during his two-hour performance on June 25 were Brandon Flowers of The Killers, Jacob Lusk of Gabriels, Rina Sawayama, and Steven Sanchez, per The Independent .

“Thank you to everyone who took to the stage with me and to all the wonderful friends, family and fans who came out to make it a spectacular night ❤️,” John wrote on Instagram .
