Teen Mom fans have turned on Amber Portwood after her called off engagement with fiancé Gary Wayt , claiming that she needs to "stop ruining lives."

After Amber launched a country-wide search for her missing fiancé last month, the 34-year-old reality star and Gary have decided to call off their wedding. This comes after Gary suddenly disappeared from their hotel room together in North Carolina with no explanation just weeks after getting down on one knee and proposing.

After Amber issued a missing persons report, police launched a search for Gary that lasted almost a week. Witnesses spotted him traveling cross-country in his car and Gary was called in to police to report that he was safe and to call off the investigation. Amber and Gary have now broken up, and many fans are placing the blame on Amber.

In a newly posted Reddit thread, one critic brutally targeted Amber and wrote: "Seriously though, she must be miserable to be with. She’s insufferable. She’s mean, angry, crazy, abusive, narcissistic, only cares about herself, negative, and always unhappy. Ugh, I just couldn’t be with someone so miserable with zero redeeming qualities like that. Being 'famous' rich, and on a tv ain’t enough to put up with that miserable potato."

Another harshly replied: "So he left you in a very public manner but now you broke it off? Got it! The only thing I do believe is that she took the ring off (aka threw it in a fit of rage) after he embarrassed the sh-t out of her." And a third wrote: "So she just wants to be with herself. Sounds good to us. She needs to stop ruining people's lives."

This critical feedback comes as Amber's previous turbulent relationships played out on reality television. Back in 2019, Amber was arrested for allegedly attacking her ex Andrew Glennon while he held their child. She later pleaded guilty to charges of domestic battery, criminal recklessness committed with a deadly weapon and domestic battery committed in the presence of a child less than 16 years old.

While Amber faced the run-ins with the law, she has since apologized for her behavior and expressed regret for her behavior. During a Teen Mom episode, she said: "I just have a lot of guilt of not being aware of myself more than I should have. And I really do feel ashamed that I didn’t have that because I should after all the things I’ve done to change.”
