Will Nate Archibald Be Chuck Bass’ Best Man? Chace Crawford Reveals On ‘WWHL’ If He Was Invited To Ed Westwick’s Wedding

Nate Archibald ( Chace Crawford ) was right there by Chuck Bass’s ( Ed Westwick ) side when Chuck married Blair Waldorf at the end of Gossip Girl , but will Crawford be attending Westwick’s real life upcoming nuptials to Amy Jackson?

Crawford discussed Westwick’s wedding during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen last night (June 26), and unfortunately, it sounds like he’ll be a no-show at the festivities.

When a pair of fans called into the show, they asked Crawford, “Do you have any idea about Ed Westwick’s plans for his upcoming wedding? And do you think you’ll score an invite to his big day?”

Crawford responded, “So, I did score an invite to the big day … I’m filming something during it.”

Crawford added that his missing the wedding is purely a logistical thing, and that he and Westwick are still pals.

“I saw [Westwick] recently in Paris and I love him. I don’t want to give details out, but it’s a beautiful European locale. It’s gonna be great. We love Ed, congrats to him,” he said.

Westwick currently lives in the English countryside with his fiancée, Jackson. The pair became engaged this past January during a ski trip in Switzerland.

Crawford may not be able to attend, but Gossip Girl star Kelly Rutherford , who played Westwick’s stepmother Lily van der Woodsen on the show in later seasons, confirmed earlier this year that she would be in attendance. No date or location of the wedding has been made public yet.
