    Smith County Road 2110 reopens, others still closed after severe weather

    SMITH COUNTY, Texas ( KETK ) – Smith County Road 2110 opened back up to traffic this week after being washed out during recent severe weather .

    More than 140 structures majorly damaged after severe weather in Smith County

    According to Smith County, Road and Bridge crews repaired the washed out road and a damage culvert on CR 2110. Storm damage at CR 336 and Wiggins Creek has reportedly also been cleaned up and TxDOT is continuing with their prior plan to build a bridge at the creek.

    The Road and Bridge Department is currently waiting for pipes to replace culverts at CR 3203 and CR 381. Smith County said that the CR 452 bridge at mill creek is still washed out and that TxDOT will also replace that bridge.

    Smith County Road and Bridge crews are also currently working on a bridge rail at CR 471 and Prairie Creek, where TxDOT is also planning to build a new bridge.
