Texas Roadhouse is selling mini rolls at Walmart stores, but you won't find them in Iowa

Texas Roadhouse’s beloved bread rolls will be easier to enjoy at any time — if you’re in Indiana, Ohio or Kentucky, that is.

The steak and American cuisine restaurant chain launched a 12-pack of mini rolls with a honey cinnamon glaze to be baked at home, only available for purchase at Walmart stores, USA TODAY reported.

Texas Roadhouse is conducting an eight-week test of these mini rolls, and confirmed in an email to the Des Moines Register that the test will only be in Walmart stores in Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky.

It’s a retail only product, Texas Roadhouse said, so Iowans shouldn’t expect to find a 12-pack of mini rolls available for purchase the next time they dine at Texas Roadhouse.

I still want Texas Roadhouse rolls, though. Where can I buy it?

Most Texas Roadhouse locations have the option in their to-go menus for customers to purchase fresh-baked bread, Texas Roadhouse confirmed. So Iowans can order a half-dozen or full-dozen of their rolls and of course, get it with their honey cinnamon butter.

How many Texas Roadhouse locations are in Iowa?

Texas Roadhouse has locations across the state, including in Ames, Cedar Falls, Cedar Rapids, Coralville, Council Bluffs, Davenport, Dubuque and Sioux City.

Des Moines metro residents can find Texas Roadhouse locations in Altoona, Johnston and West Des Moines, according to the restaurant’s store locater.
