‘Power Book II: Ghost’ Exclusive Preview: Monet Accuses Tariq Of Lying

Blavity’s Shadow and Act has an exclusive clip of this week’s Power Book II: Ghost episode, which premieres on Friday.

In the below clip, Kamaal Tate (Lahmard Tate) approaches Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.) on campus and wants to talk to him about what he knows about Monet Tejada’s shooting.

Meanwhile, Tariq gets a text from Monique, who says a detective dropped by to see her and that he has been lying.

Here’s the official logline for this week’s episode, “The Reckoning”:

Dru and Diana are on the run. Tariq is on the hunt. Noma enlists Cane’s help in making an ally of a powerful player.

The episode premieres Friday at midnight ET on the Starz app. On the linear channel, it will debut at 8 p.m.

The season 4 cast includes Michael Rainey Jr., Mary J. Blige, Cliff “Method Man” Smith, Gianni Paolo, Woody McClain, Lovell Adams-Gray, LaToya Tonodeo, Alix Lapri, Larenz Tate, Caroline Chikezie, Lightskinkeisha and Michael Ealy.

Brett Mahoney is the showrunner and executive produces. The Power universe series is executive produced by the creator and showrunner of the original Power, Courtney A. Kemp through her production company, End of Episode. Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson exec produces through G-Unit Film and Television, and Mark Canton executive produces through Canton Entertainment.

Lionsgate Television produces the series for Starz.

Fourth and final season is split into two parts, with the first season airing now and the second part debuting in September.
