FAYETTE COUNTY, TEXAS - Two Honduran men were arrested on money laundering charges on June 23.

Oscar Perez and Eduardo Moreno were taken to the Fayette County Sheriff's Dan R. Beck Justice Center and charged with money laundering after a deputy found $11,000 during a traffic stop on Interstate 10 in Fayette County, Texas.

The deputy submitted an arrest report to U.S. Border Patrol agents, who informed the deputies that the vehicle had been flagged for being associated with human smuggling.

Perez and Moreno's bond was set at $3,000 each but they have since bonded out.
