"Living Nostradamus " Athos Salomé, a self-proclaimed psychic from Brazil , predicted in 2023 that an asteroid "abundant with rich materials" would fly past Earth safely in 2024 — a prophecy that is apparently about to come true.

Knewz.com has learned that Asteroid 2024 MK is expected to narrowly cross Earth on June 29.

Salomé has reportedly predicted many significant global events in the past that have eventually come true.

According to his claims, he correctly predicted the Ukraine war , the death of Queen Elizabeth II, and the COVID-19 pandemic, among many others.

In an exclusive conversation with The Sun UK on December 31, 2023, the "Living Nostradamus" made a total of five predictions ranging from the beginning of a Third World War to humans finally making contact with aliens .

Salomé also predicted that this year an “asteroid abundant with rich materials” would come hurtling towards the Earth, but would "land safely."

It seems his prophecy has come true, as the European Space Agency wrote on Monday, June 24, "Asteroid 2024 MK will fly past Earth on 29 June at approximately 13:45 UTC," adding that it will fly as close as 180,198 miles from the surface of the Earth.

For context, the Moon is 238,855 miles from the Earth's surface.

"If you have a decent backyard telescope or perhaps even with some good binoculars, and your skies are cloud-free, you could see the 400- to 850-foot rock as a speck of light zipping across the starry sky ahead of the sun coming up," The New York Times wrote in a June 27 report.

The Asteroid 2024 MK is between 400 and 850 feet across, and celestial bodies this large are rarely known to pass between the Earth and the lunar orbit.

Andrew Rivkin, a planetary astronomer at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, noted in a statement to The New York Post , "Passes this close by things this big are rare but happen on decadal timescales — this will be the third (that we know of) this century."

The asteroid was discovered on June 16, around 13 days before it will pass the Earth's surface, according to the European Space Agency.

"It poses no risk to our planet, but the fact that it was discovered so late highlights the need to continue improving our ability to detect potentially hazardous objects in our cosmic neighbourhood," the Agency pointed out.

However, the space agencies have yet to mention anything about the presence of "rich materials" on the asteroid, something the self-proclaimed Brazilian psychic believes will set off a race for discovery among world governments.

Salomé predicted that different global superpowers would battle to get their hands on it, leading to a "new space race," where "things could get nasty," per The Sun UK .

The "Living Nostradamus" also predicted that in 2024, Artificial Intelligence systems would develop consciousness and rebel against humans, much like the plot of the sci-fi franchise Terminator .

"Equipped with self-improvement capabilities and covert communication channels - it could lead machines and us down a very perilous path," Salomé told The Sun UK .

He also predicted that this year would see natural disasters all over the world, with hurricanes and tropical storms bringing deadly floods near the Gulf of Mexico, and California , Oregon, and Washington suffering from further forest fires.
