Nick Viall Avoids Social Media to ‘Protect Mental Health’ After Natalie Joy Cheating Rumors

Former The Bachelor star Nick Viall had been on a quest for love for years. He also made the rounds on The Bachelorette (twice) and Bachelor in Paradise . Finally, he met the love of his life, Natalie Joy . Eventually, the couple welcomed a daughter and later got married. So, why is Nick staying off social media?

Nick is ignoring hurtful rumors about Natalie

Nick stopped by The LadyGang podcast to share why he has taken a break from social media. It seems that Natalie was accused of cheating on Nick around the time that they got engaged. “I don’t go on [social media]. I disconnect. I’m just really good at protecting my mental health and the mental health of my family,” Nick stated. “And I mean it when I say it, I like to work. I’ve always liked to work. The more I build the show, the less famous I want to be,” he added.

Nick continued, “You know, I’ve chosen this lane … so I just stay offline, I disconnect. I don’t read comments.” Still, Nick knows some rumors are floating around about his life. “I know that I’m unaware of 90 percent more because I don’t read it,” he stated.

Now that Natalie is a co-host of Nick’s podcast, The Viall Files, it has opened the couple up to even more scrutiny. “Listen, I’m human. As much as I say to stay offline, I’ve had my moments of weakness. I had to get better and better at this … you just move on,” Nick explained.

The couple held their nuptials at Natalie’s family’s Georgia farm on April 27, 2024. They tied the knot in front of 170 guests. Their daughter, River, was born in February 2024 and figured prominently in their wedding.

And it sounds like Nick adores being a dad . “I love everything about fatherhood, so I wouldn’t change a thing. It has only added more meaning and purpose and wonderful moments,” he said of welcoming his daughter.
