LeBron James Shares the Sweetest Message to Sons Bronny & Bryce: ‘Pops Over Here Getting Emotional'

LeBron James is all in his fatherhood feels, and honestly, it has us feeling emo too. The NBA legend posted an epic carousel of photos with him and his sons LeBron “Bronny” James Jr., 19 and Bryce, 17 playing basketball. (Because, duh!)

“Not a feeling in the fkn world better than being around raising my boys to MEN!” James began his caption. “Pops over here getting emotional as hell just thinking about yall journey so far!”

In the photos, the James men have matching game faces that they alternate with spontaneous smiles, showing that they really do love playing the game they take so seriously. James keeps a close eye on Bronny and Bryce’s form, clearly impressed and ready to step in should they need a pointer.

“Thank you both for allowing me to be your DAD and be apart of your compass through life’s trials and tribulations! 🫡🤎🤴🏾🤴🏾,” James continued.

Best of all, the carousel ends with three pictures — one of each of them leaping into the air for a slam dunk. And honestly, they should print those out and hang ’em in the Lourve! Side-by-side(-by-side), they make for such cool father-son photos.

“Bro this amazing to see. As a dad I know you’re living the dream. Keep being you ✊🏾,” one follower said of the sweet photos and moving caption. “Your Greatest accomplishment 🙏🏽,” another said of James’ kids.

James shares his boys and daughter Zhuri, 9 with wife Savannah James. Just shy of a year ago, the family went through a traumatic experience when Bronny was hospitalized after going into cardiac arrest during a workout at his college’s basketball arena. At the time of the event, a spokesperson for the family said the parents of three wanted to “publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the [University of Southern California] medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes.”

A few days later, James tweeted a brief update filled with gratitude. “I want to thank the countless people sending my family love and prayers,” he said . “We feel you and I’m so grateful. Everyone doing great. We have our family together, safe and healthy, and we feel your love. Will have more to say when we’re ready but I wanted to tell everyone how much your support has meant to all of us!”

Bronny is eligible for the NBA draft this year, and all eyes are on where the son of the prospective Hall of Famer will end up. As for Bryce, he committed to playing basketball at Ohio State University at just 16 years old. Those athletic genes clearly run deep! And when you have a proud dad like James to practice dunks with, it’s no wonder Bronny and Bryce are going far.
