Hollow Fire near Livermore erupts to 210 acres

( KRON ) — A fire that broke out late Thursday morning between Livermore and Tracy has spread to 210 acres, according to Cal Fire. Dubbed the Hollow Fire, the blaze started at 11:21 a.m. near I-580 in San Joaquin County.

The fire, which is burning along 580 east near Corral Hollow Road, is 70% contained as of 2:15 p.m. Fifty firefighting personnel, 1 helicopter, 11 engines, 3 dozers and 1 water tender have been assigned to combatting the blaze.
