“ That’s what my life has been the last couple years,” the Yellowstone star said in her Instagram post announcing her new album, referring to the body of work’s title. “I hope this record brings peace to your ‘whirlwind’ and wraps its arms around you like it did me when I was writing and recording it. That’s right! Country superstar Miranda Lambert will join Wilson on her new album! The two musicians have a unique bond. Appearing on CMT’s “On the Road” series, Wilson  talked about her relationship with Lambert, who has been dominating the country music scene for years.

“ She's awesome — I mean she's become one of my mentors," Wilson said in the video. "She's there for me. When I feel like, man, as a female in this industry, who can I go to, who can I call and be like, 'What would you do in this situation,' or, 'How would you handle this?' or 'Hey, when you're feeling under the weather and you're losing your voice and this is happening, what do you do?' She's that person I call."

The singer took to Instagram to announce her album’s tracklist, and also revealed that on July 4, she’d be releasing a new song off the album.

This album brought me back to my roots and made me feel at home during times when I couldn’t have been further away and my biggest hope is that it gives you that same sense of comfort that it has for me.
