    Sam Waterston Signs With Paradigm

    EXCLUSIVE: Emmy, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild award winner Sam Waterston has signed with Paradigm for representation.

    It was the end of an era for NBC’s Law & Order earlier this year when Waterston said goodbye to his longtime character District Attorney Jack McCoy, whom he portrayed in more than 400 episodes, earning three Primetime Emmy nominations for his performance during his run. He earned an additional three Emmy nominations and won a Golden Globe for his role in drama series I’ll Fly Away , which aired on NBC from 1991-1993. He is an Academy Award nominee for his role as journalist Sydney Schanberg in 1984’s The Killing Fields . He won an Emmy in 1996 for Outstanding Informational Series for Lost Civilizations.

    In addition to his Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG award wins, he also was honored with OBIE and Drama Desk theater awards.

    Waterston co-starred alongside Jeff Daniels and Emily Mortimer in Aaron Sorkin’s HBO series The Newsroom for three seasons, and starred opposite Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin and Martin Sheen on Netflix’s Grace and Frankie, which ran for seven seasons.

    Mostly recently, Waterston portrayed George Schultz in the award-winning Hulu limited series The Dropout opposite Amanda Seyfried.

    Waterston currently serves as Board President of Oceana, the world’s largest Ocean focused NGO, and on the Board of Refugees International.

    Waterston continues to be repped by Constellation Media Group.
