    “Shark Beach With Anthony Mackie: Gulf Coast” (July 1)

    Kicking off National Geographic’s 2024 Sharfest, this new installment of “Shark Beach” follows actor Anthony Mackie as he navigates the waterways of New Orleans, where he was born and raised. As Mackie explores the growing rumors that shark encounters may be on the rise in the Gulf of Mexico, he works with a team of experts, consulting the latest in scientific research, to find better ways for humans and sharks to coexist in the waters surrounding Louisiana.

    “Bluey Minisodes” (July 3)

    Bringing more tail-wagging fun and heartwarming stories to families, seven brand-new “Bluey Minisodes” make their debut. Further exploring the beloved world of “Bluey,” the smash-hit Australian children’s series about the adventures of blue heeler pup Bluey and her family, these new shorts, running one to three minutes each, highlight funny and sweet moments featuring Bluey and Bingo, leaning into playful interactions and games.

    “Wahlburgers” - Season 1 (Available Now)

    You’ve probably heard of Mark Wahlberg and his brother Donnie, too. But this time, older brother Paul steals the show, serving up some good, hot eats in Season 1 of this reality series from 2014. Even with the full support of his family, Paul still faces daily challenges running Wahlburgers — the Boston-based burger joint that bears their family’s infamous moniker. The series follows Paul and the family as they are caught up in a whirlwind of bustling kitchens, an impending expansion and everything in between.

    “The Jungle Book” (Available Now)

    Based on Rudyard Kipling’s book, this classic Disney animated film follows Mowgli (Bruce Reitherman), an abandoned child raised by wolves, who has his peaceful existence threatened by the return of the man-eating tiger Shere Khan (George Sanders). Facing certain death, Mowgli must overcome his reluctance to leave his wolf family and return to the “man village.” But he is not alone on his quest: Aided by Bagheera the panther (Sebastian Cabot) and the carefree bear Balloo (Phil Harris), he braves the jungle’s many perils.

    “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi” (June 30)

    In Libya, 2012, Islamic militants attack the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, killing Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens (Matt Letscher) and Sean Smith (Christopher Dingli), an officer for the Foreign Service. Stationed less than one mile away are members of the Annex Security Team (James Badge Dale, John Krasinski, Max Martini), former soldiers assigned to protect operatives and diplomats in the city. As the assault rages on, the six men engage the combatants in a fierce firefight to save the lives of the remaining Americans.

    “Zoolander No. 2: The Magnum Edition” (June 30)

    Former models Derek Zoolander (Ben Stiller) and Hansel (Owen Wilson) find themselves thrust back into the spotlight after living in seclusion for years. Invited to a major fashion event in Rome, the estranged friends are surprised to see how much the business has changed. Even more shocking is their encounter with Valentina Valencia (Penélope Cruz), a special agent who needs their help. Someone is killing famous pop stars, and it’s up to Derek and Hansel to help save the world’s most beautiful people from a similar fate. Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig also star.

    “Space Cadet” (July 4)

    Florida party girl Tiffany “Rex” Simpson (Emma Roberts) has always dreamed of going to space. With her life not going according to plan and determined to turn things around for herself, Rex, with the help of her best friend, Nadine (Poppy Liu, “Hacks”), submits an embellished application to NASA’s ultra-competitive astronaut training program. Using her quick wits to get through the program — and hopefully to the top of her class — Rex will have to get through her training and blast off before she can be caught as a fraud.

    “No Country For Old Men” (Available Now)

    While out hunting, Llewelyn Moss (Josh Brolin) finds the grisly aftermath of a drug deal. Though he knows better, he cannot resist the cash left behind and takes it with him. The hunter becomes the hunted when a merciless killer named Chigurh (Javier Bardem) picks up his trail. Also looking for Moss is Sheriff Bell (Tommy Lee Jones), an aging lawman who reflects on a changing world and a dark secret of his own, as he tries to find and protect Moss.

    “Sausage Party: Foodtopia” - Season 1 (July 11, Series Premiere)

    Based off the 2016 animated feature “Sausage Party,” this animated series follows Frank (Seth Rogen), Brenda (Kristen Wiig), Barry (Michael Cera) and Sammy (Edward Norton) as they try to build their own food society. David Krumholtz, Will Forte, Sam Richardson, Natasha Rothwell and Yassir Lester also voice star.

    “Star Trek: Prodigy” - Season 2 (July 1)

    Moving to Netflix from Paramount+ for its second season, this animated Star Trek franchise spinoff for kids follows a motley crew of young aliens who must figure out how to work together while navigating a greater galaxy, in search of a better future. These six young outcasts know nothing about the ship they have commandeered — a first in the history of the franchise — but over the course of their adventures together, they will each be introduced to Starfleet and the ideals it represents.

    “Sprint” (July 2)

    Following athletes from all over the world, this series takes a deep dive into the psyches of those elite competitors who train to be the fastest person on the planet. With an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the high stakes and mental toughness of the sprinters who devote their entire lives to crossing the finish line in record time, where their professional futures are decided in just fractions of a second, Season 1 will explore the top sprinters on the road and throughout the 2023 World Championships. Featuring Sha’Carri Richardson, Noah Lyles and Shericka Jackson, among many others.

    “The Man with 1000 Kids” (July 3)

    This documentary miniseries uncovers the gripping tale of a charming Dutch scammer, Jonathan Meijer, who is accused of traveling the world deceiving mothers into having his babies on a mass scale. It investigates the murky world of the fertility industry and uncovers how, due to a lack of global regulations, some international fertility clinics continue to allow anonymous donations.

    “The Imaginary” (July 5)

    This Japanese animated film from Studio Ponoc portrays the depths of humanity and creativity through the eyes of young Amanda and her imaginary companion, Rudger. Their fantastical adventures, launched from her attic, lead them to discover a magical world of creatures and places never before seen. But, a sinister force threatens to destroy their imaginary world and the friendship within it.

    “Sunny” (Apple TV+ — July 10, Series Premiere)

    Rashida Jones stars in this thriller series as Suzie, an American woman living in Kyoto, Japan, whose life is upended when her husband and son disappear in a mysterious plane crash. As “consolation” she’s given Sunny (voiced by Joanna Sotomura), one of a new class of domestic robots made by her husband’s electronics company. Though at first, Suzie resents Sunny’s attempts to fill the void in her life, gradually they develop an unexpected friendship. Together they uncover the dark truth of what really happened to Suzie’s family and become dangerously enmeshed in a world Suzie never knew existed.
