The Whirlwind K-drama is a new Netflix series starring Sol Kyung-Gu and Kim Hee-Ae in lead roles. It tells the story of a prime minister taking it on himself to punish the corrupt president. When the deputy prime minister confronts him, a power battle begins.

The streamer recently released a new trailer for The Whirlwind episode 1, teasing the death of President Kim Hong-Pa (Jang Il-Jun). The trailer begins with Hong-Pa discussing a political move with one of his employees, Choi Yeon-Suk.

Suddenly, he holds his chest and struggles to breathe. Yeon-Suk gets startled when the president falls to the ground. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Dong-Ho hears the commotion but ignores it. He walks towards the exit door while narrating his thoughts about the situation. Dong-Ho says, “Don’t hold out your hand to be saved, sir. Don’t scream for help either. I made your heart beat again…but now I will make it stop.” Simultaneously, the camera focuses on the president closing his eyes and stopping to move.
