News of public record: Tuscarawas County restaurant inspections

The following are restaurant inspections with critical violations, as conducted by the Tuscarawas County Health Department from June 17 to 21.

June 18

Wilksire Golf Course, 10566 Wilkshire Blvd., Bolivar. The ice machine in the back area, the ice bin in the bar area, and the three-compartment sink are without an air gap.

Ramada Limited, 509 S. Wooster Ave., Strasburg. Employees are not informed in a verifiable manner of their responsibility to report information about their health. Observed the person in charge not sanitizing the utensils after cleaning.

Ramada Limited Bar, 509 S. Wooster Ave., Strasburg. Ware washing machine does not reach the required temperature (180 F) in the final rinse to sanitize the food contact surfaces. Equipment food-contact surfaces of the ice machine are unclean. The facility has a problem with the hot tank and hot water is not provided to the food operation.

June 20

Ramada Limited Bar, 509 S. Wooster Ave., Strasburg. The mechanical ware washing machine is not reaching the required temperature (180F) in the final rinse to sanitize the food contact surfaces.
