Joe Rogan issues warning to Ian Machado Garry ahead of fight this weekend

Joe Rogan has issued a stark warning to Irish UFC fighter Ian Machado Garry ahead of his UFC bout this weekend against Michael Venom Page.

Garry will take on MVP on Saturday night during UFC 303, the event at which Conor McGregor was due to make his return . Irish fight fans will have to settle for only one of their countryman on the card, with Garry hailing from Co Dublin .

However, MMA expert Joe Rogan thinks Garry has his work cut out for him , and that he will have to be at his best to take home the win.

He said: " I think he’s (Garry) sensational , but he’s been hit before, and he’s gotten rocked and dropped. Michael Venom Page is a different thing inside the octagon. … I think he’s (Garry) going to have a really hard time finding that guy."

He continued: "The difference with Michael Venom Page is Michael Venom Page is an elite point fighter. His style of hitting and not getting hit and being able to close distance really fast, nobody is like that. Wonderboy was a kickboxer, a very elite striker, a very elite kickboxer.

"But the difference between kickboxing and point fighting is that blitz, and Michael Venom Page is so unorthodox."

Meanwhile, UFC champ Leon Edwards also said that his money is on MVP to get the job done, but he says Garry is not to be counted out.
