Aldi Is Selling a 'Cozy' $9.99 Throw Blanket So Similar to a Pottery Barn Style 5x the Price

It’s hard to pass up adding more blankets to your collection. Especially when the blanket is soft and cute to display in your home. That’s the case with Aldi ’s upcoming Huntington Home blanket , which looks like a Pottery Barn style that’s five times the price and a Target throw almost three times the price.

Starting July 3 and going through July 9, Aldi is selling a Huntington Home Decorative Throw for $9.99 in the Aldi Finds section of the budget grocery store. It’s made from 100% polyester and has either a “cozy teddy bear sherpa” feel or a “soft eyelash texture” look. All of the colors have pom poms or tassels around the edge and they’re 50 inches by 70 inches.

Huntington Home Decorative Throw , $9.99 at Aldi

The colors include Pink Pom Poms, White Pom Poms, Gray Pom Poms, Pink Tassels, Taupe Tassels, and Blue Tassels. The pink, gray and white pom poms have the cozy sherpa fabric, while the pink, taupe and blue blankets with tassels have the “soft eyelash texture.” The “eyelash texture” kind of just looks like ridges across the throw. The post says that the throw blankets are easy to care for and machine washable, which is always a plus.

As we stated in the beginning, these Aldi blankets look very similar to Pottery Barn’s Cozy Pom Pom Sherpa Throw , which is currently $49. This blanket comes in five colors, including Smoke and Ivory, which match colors sold at Aldi. All of the colors have a sherpa texture, matching the pom pom throws found in the Aldi Finds section. These are made from the exact same materials (100% polyester) and it’s slightly smaller than Aldi’s, measuring 50 inches by 60 inches.

The Huntington Home throws at Aldi are also similar to the PAVILIA Fluffy Throw Blanket with Pompom sold at Target. They’re currently $24.99 for the twin size (which is slightly bigger than Aldi’s, measuring 60 inches by 80 inches) and $20.99 for the throw size (which is slightly smaller than Aldi’s, measuring 50 inches by 60 inches). These come in a ton of colors, with the light gray and white matching the Huntington Home style.

PAVILIA Fluffy Throw Blanket with Pompom , $24.99 at Target

Similar to Pottery Barn’s blankets, these match the sherpa texture of the pom pom throws at Aldi. Different from both of those, though, the PAVILIA throw is made with 100% microfiber.

While they're all great options, whether you’re in the market for a fluffy pom pom or tassel throw blanket or you just can’t help yourself when it comes to fluffy throws, Aldi’s Huntington Home Decorative Throw might be worth checking out next week.
