The U.S. Marshal Service and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office need your help in locating two individuals wanted on weapons violations, among other charges.
Michael Black, the U.S. Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, said getting these people off the street quickly and safely is of the utmost importance.
“Typically, when these folks are out here committing these crimes with weapons, they’re probably going to do it again,” said Black. “So our goal is to get them off the street, keep as many illegal weapons out of our communities as possible, and bring these individuals to justice.”
Chad Green and Marie Edwards are both sought by the U.S. Marshal Service.
Chad Green
Green, 31, is facing a number of charges, including carrying a concealed weapon and having weapons under a disability. In this case, Green is a convicted felon, which makes him ineligible to own a firearm.
Age: 31
Height: 5’10”
Weight: 200 lbs.
Marie Edwards
Edwards, 19, is facing charges including carrying a concealed weapon and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle. At the time of her arrest, she wasn’t of legal age to own a gun.
Age: 19
Height: 5’4”
Weight: 160 lbs.
Black said that in both of these cases, they want to move swiftly in bringing these individuals to justice.
“When we get a tip from the community saying that they’ve identified the we’re an act on that tip immediately,” said Black. “We don’t wait.”
He asks that if you see something, say something.
“We can’t do this alone,” said Black. “We’re always looking to partner with the community and looking for their assistance to ride their cities or rid their communities of violent criminals.
Black said that if you see either of these people, don’t approach them as they could be armed and dangerous. Instead, you can submit a tip to the U.S. Marshal Service via the tip line at 614-469-5540, its usmarshals.gov website or the USMS Tips app.
