NHL Central Scouting ranked Allard's brother Owen, a 6-foot-2 forward with the OHL's Soo Greyhounds, 174th among North American skaters, but several rankings, including from The Hockey News' Ryan Kennedy, who ranked Allard 115th overall, have him higher on the list.
