Guard Immanuel Quickley intends to sign a five-year, $175 million contract to stay with the Toronto Raptors , sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Quickley's agent, Raymond Brothers, reached agreement with the Raptors' front office in the last day on deal and now Quickley is part of the organization's long-term future.

Quickley, 25, was traded along with RJ Barrett to the Raptors by the Knicks this past season in a deal that sent OG Anunoby back to New York.

Since his arrival, Quickley has established himself as a cornerstone player for Toronto.

Quickley was the 25th overall pick by the Knicks in 2020 and developed into a fan favorite as primarily an off-the-bench spark plug. He did not start any of the 30 games he played for New York this year. However, he started all 38 games he played for the Raptors and averaged 18.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 6.8 assists, which would all be career-best averages for Quickley over a full season.

News of the contract to keep Quickley comes days after sources told ESPN that the Raptors intend to sign All-Star guard Scottie Barnes to a five-year maximum rookie extension that could be worth as much as $270 million.

Information from ESPN's Tim Bontemps was used in this report.
