    ODOT to pause some projects for holiday travelers in Ohio

    (WKBN) – According to motor club AAA, 71 million people will travel at least 50 miles over the Fourth of July holiday, a 5% increase over the last year.

    ODOT is working with contractors to suspend road work and open as many lanes as possible in the state, however, you will still see work on I-75 in Dayton and Cincinnati, I-70 in Zanesville, and several ongoing projects in the Akron area.

    Also, a major project in downtown Columbus will continue over the holiday.
