Royal Family Expresses Gratitude To Hospital Staff As Princess Anne Returns Home

Amidst a busy week for the Royal Family, so much love and well wishes have been sent Princess Anne’s way. That’s because, just last Sunday, she experienced an accident at her estate in Gloucestershire. While taking a walk, it seems that Princess Anne was kicked in the head by one of her horses. In turn, she was sent to a hospital where she was found to have a concussion. This incident left her unable to attend any of the events she had planned for this week. But now, after just five days, Princess Anne is finally home!

From the moment that news broke of Anne’s hospitalization, she received an overwhelming outpouring of love from family and otherwise. In fact, both she and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, were quick to thank everyone for all of the kindness they’ve been shown.

“We are both deeply touched by all the kind messages we have received from so many people,” the vice admiral shared earlier this week . “It means a great deal.”

After Five Days in the Hospital, Princess Anne is Thankful to be Back Home

Now that Anne is back home, we’re learning that she has suffered memory loss from her concussion. This is said to be temporary, however. So, all in all, the Royal Family are quite grateful for how well things have turned out this week after Anne’s incident. More specifically, they couldn’t be more appreciative of the hospital staff who nursed her back to health.

“I would like to extend my warmest thanks to all the team at Southmead Hospital for their care, expertise and kindness during my wife’s short stay,” Timothy shares .
