    The popular rom-com K-drama Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale has come to an end. The final episode of the series aired on Friday, June 28, 2024, on TVING. In the last installment, Shin Jae Rim (Pyo Ye Jin) decides to give a fresh start to her career. She wants to become an established artist. The 10th episode also shows that her, along with the other employees of the club, find out the truth about Moon Cha Min’s (Lee Jun Young) situation. They learn that his father has excluded him from their property and business.

    The final episode also shows Shin Jae Rim accepting her feelings for Cha Min and goes on to reject Baek Do Hong’s (Kim Hyun Jin) offer of going to Berlin with him. The biggest highlight of the episode is when both Jae Rim and Cha Min finally confess their love for each other. Thus ensuring that the K-drama has a happy ending.

    The Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale ending takes viewers on an enthralling ride as they witness Moon Cha Min (Lee Jun Young) and Shin Jae Rim (Pyo Ye Jin) finally becoming a couple. In the finale episode, after Shin Jae Rim rejects Baek Do Hong’s (Kim Hyun Jin) offer to go to Berlin, she arrives at the social club.

    After entering the club she sees that it has been vandalized and is in absolute ruins. However, she soon realizes that their is someone else present inside the venue. In self-defense, she goes on to attack the individual with Cha Min’s umbrella. However, the person turns out to be Cha Min himself. He was looking for the ring he bought for Jae Rim earlier. She then begins to confess her feelings for him.

    At first, he is surprised and cannot believe that she loves him despite his condition. But, he learns that he doesn’t need to be wealthy to be truly loved. Furthermore, Moon Cha Min also shares his true feelings with Jae Rim and tells her how deeply he loves her. The duo then go on to share a passionate kiss. He then gives her the ring he bought for her and the two finally become a couple.

    Do Lee Jun Young & Pyo Ye Jin get a happy ending?

    Shin Jae Rim (Pyo Ye Jin) and Moon Cha Min’s (Lee Jun Young) story gets a true happy ending. In the finale episode of Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale, after they become a couple, Jae Rim takes Cha Min to her home and introduces him to all her family members. They welcome him heartily and are in awe of his charm.

    Jae Rim’s stepmother even lets them have their privacy in the house. The two of them spend the night together, embracing each other. The next morning, Cha Min goes to visit his father at the hospital, who is still angry at him. However, it is evident that he loves his son dearly. Cha Min then makes his father meet with his mother.

    After seeing his wife past so many years, Cha Min’s father becomes quite emotional. The two end up reconciling. At the end of the K-drama, viewers see that Jae Rim has become successful in her career. Moreover, she and Moon Cha Min have created a beautiful life together with immense love and support for one another.

    Will there be Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale season 2?

    After the end of Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale, fans may wonder whether there will be a second season of the show. However, TVING has not officially announced any plans on a potential sequel. Furthermore, the K-drama ended on a satisfying note with the success of Shin Jae Rim and Moon Cha Min’s love story.

    Thus, going by the ending, there is a very little possibility of the series being renewed for a new season. But, it will be interesting to see if the network decides differently. Viewers can stream the rom-com series on TVING.
