Josh Pate weighed in on the latest EA Sports College Football 25 rankings for the toughest environments in the game. Pate brought up the rankings on the latest edition of Late Kick Live .

The top five were the Texas A&M Aggies, Alabama Crimson Tide, LSU Tigers, Ohio State Buckeyes, and Georgia Bulldogs. Pate understood the decision to put the Aggies at the top after including Kyle Field in his loudest stadium rankings.

However, he disagreed with putting Bryant-Denny Stadium at number two. Pate mentioned how Alabama was not even inside the top eight for his stadium rankings.

"I had Texas A&M in my top eight of loudest stadiums, so it's not like I have a huge problem with that," Pate said. "Bama has no business in being at number two. Ohio State has no business being at number four. ...These are places where they win all the time, especially Bama and Ohio State, I didn't have either in my top eight of loudest venues."

Pate explained in detail how some of the teams on EA Sports' list simply had continued success. Alabama, Georgia, and Ohio State all fit that mold.

"...When you say toughest places to play though, in fairness, that doesn't have everything to do with atmosphere," Pate said. "You'll notice, a lot of these teams have just been really good for a long time. It would be tough to play Bama the last 15 years in a parking lot."

The notion that Bryant-Denny Stadium was ranked above LSU's Tiger Stadium was laughable for Pate.

"I don't know that this is the best reflection of Bryant-Denny Stadium," Pate said. "Bryant-Denny Stadium is a great venue; it certainly is a top 12 type venue for me. But number two? Ahead of LSU? I don't think so."

Alabama welcomes the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers to Bryant-Denny Stadium for its season opener Aug. 31. Kickoff will be at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
