Oscar Langburne isn't a household name, but he probably should be.

Langburne, a wiry goofyfoot from Australia, places a premium on his style. Taking a less-is-more approach, you won't find a finger out of place with Langburne. No unnecessary movements. No wild arms. No double clutch bottom turns. At first glance, it'd be easy to mistake Langburne for the surfer he quite obviously emulates: Craig Anderson.

In "How Are Things On The West Coast?", Langburne slices his way through Central America, starting in Costa Rica before heading north into Nicaragua and El Salvador. In each country he surfs a slightly different type of wave, collecting clips at beachies, points, slabs and wedges, and scoring it to timeless tracks from bands including Interpol and the Pixies. While Langburne isn't the most radical surfer in the world, it's nice watching him draw long, clean lines, and connect the dots beautifully.

While there's nothing fancy here, this 15-minute short pairs good style with rad music and that's a winning recipe every time. Go ahead, click play.
