County limits for deer hunting are changing in Butler, Clinton, Fayette, Greene, Madison and Pickaway counties. The bag limit in those counties has increased from two to three.

Trumbull, Mahoning and Columbiana counties are still at three. The statewide limit is six.

The disease surveillance area was expanded and now includes all of Hardin, Marion and Wyandot counties and Auglaize and Jackson townships in Allen County.

Spring 2025 wild turkey hunting dates will be announced in the fall.

Deer management permits are valid until the last day of the bonus deer gun hunting weekend (Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024).
