A Cardiff property that was once home to a fast-food restaurant has been sold for $3.1 million, a brokerage announced.

A team from CBRE that included Reg Kobzi, Michael Peterson and Joel Wilson represented Calbay Development LLC in selling the parcel, at 1967 San Eijo Ave., to Albatross LLC.

The 1,429 square-foot building sits on a 16,702 square-foot coastal pad adjacent to the Cardiff Seaside Market Center and directly across from San Elijo State Beach, with immediate access to Highway 101.

The building was formerly a Jack in the Box with more than 20 parking spaces. The buyer purchased the land with the intent to redevelop it and occupy a business on site.

“This building sits on an exceptional location in a coastal city, offering immense potential for the investor looking to capitalize on location,” said Kobzi, a senior vice president at CBRE.
