Ragdoll Kitten's Curiosity Over Golden Retriever Sibling Is Cuteness Overload

Kittens are such interesting little creatures. Some of them are very timid and nervous about the world around them — not that anyone could blame them, because they're brand new to it! But then, there are the ones who are surprisingly brave, even when it comes to their interactions with animals who are much bigger than they are. When one of my cats was tiny, he was still always willing to pick a fight... and even though now, fully grown, he's still the smallest animal in the house, that hasn't changed.

That kind of true bravery is on display in this TikTok video, where one kitten isn't going to let a little fear stand in the way of figuring out exactly what this creature in his new home is.

On Thursday, June 27, @pearlsragdolls shared this adorable video of her Ragdoll kitten — who can't be more than a few weeks old — approaching her Golden Retriever (whose name is Lucy) with so much brave curiosity. Yes, there are a few silent kitty hisses along the way, but that doesn't stop him from checking out what this giant animal is.

I do have to give the dog credit where credit is due; Lucy stays perfectly still and just lets the baby explore for awhile before she gets tired of the situation and walks away. Good girl!

Of course, commenters are loving this, with one person writing, "I love it when kittens hiss it’s like 'okay yes, you’re very scary for a two pound cat.'" LOL!

More About This Brave Kitten

Lucy's mom is a breeder, so this little kitten might not be there to stay forever. But judging by his behavior, it seems like he's definitely trying to!

The kitten in the video appears to be Koda, and he already has quite a personality even beyond his bravery and curiosity. In one video, he l eaves the group of his siblings to cuddle with the OP — he's trying to worm his way into her heart so he can stay forever!

And speaking of cuddles, he loves them so much that in this video , he was letting out the cutest, tiniest little meows of dissent when it was time to get out of bed. He was still so mad when she picked him up, too!

Whether Koda stays or finds a new forever home, whoever gets to be his human is very lucky — and if they have a dog, I have a feeling that they will be BFFs in no time.
