    Kern Judge Judith Dulcich reappointed to state judicial council

    BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Kern County Superior Court Judge Judith K. Dulcich has been reappointed to the Judicial Council of California, court officials said Friday.

    In 2022, she became the first local judge since 1966 to be appointed to the council, according to a Superior Court release. She will be a voting member with her three-year term beginning Sept. 15.

    “The council consists of volunteers that offer their time and expertise to help make our court system consistent, impartial and accessible,” Patricia Guerrero, chief justice of the California Supreme Court, said in a state news release. “I thank our new and outgoing members for their dedication and service to the people of California.”
