Looking to create your own outdoor decor? You're going to want to watch this man's video, where he uses a mix of found items and inexpensive buys to create the most amazing statement pieces for his yard.

These one of a kind works of art are like giant sculptures, but you don't really need an artistic ability to create one for yourself. What you will need is a handful of supplies, a bit of time, and a pair of gloves to protect your hands from the spray paint... trust us, you're going to want to take that last step seriously!

Before we get into how great this video is, we need to say that we could listen to @the_gooch's voice all day. Between the enthusiasm and the tone, we were captivated as soon as he started talking.

Of course, once we saw what he was making we were absolutely sucked in. Those larger than life flowers ended up looking so great in his garden, and if he was being truthful about the expenses he incurred during this project, it sounds like he made all three of them for less than $20!

Now, we're going to be looking at those loose hubcaps we see on the side of the road in a whole new light!

One of the things we really liked about the OP's project was the fact that he added some lights so that he could enjoy the garden decor at night as well. Gardening with nighttime in mind may be our new favorite trend, and there's a few different ways to make it happen.

Woman's Solar Lights Change Garden Into a Nighttime Oasis

Adding some solar lights and figures to your yard is the perfect way to install decor that pulls double duty, looking great both during the day and at night when the rest of your plants and decorations fade into the darkness.

This not only helps you to extend the amount of time you get to spend in the garden, but it can also completely change the way you use your outdoor space.

All you need is a few different solar lights — you can buy different designs depending on where you shop, including at Costco , the Dollar Tree , on Amazon , and Walmart — and some other light up figurines.

Hubcap Flowers Are Easy to Make

Now that we know how easy it can be to make these cool garden sculptures, we're definitely going to add a few to our landscape this year. All we need to do is get our hands on some hubcaps... and of course some gloves to keep our hands safe from all that spray paint!
