    Severe thunderstorm, flood warnings in NE Kansas

    Update 10:39 p.m. The tornado watch in Osage County is cancelled, and the watch expired in Anderson and Coffey County. Flood advisories are issued for Anderson, Franklin and Osage counties until 1:45 a.m. Saturday, June 29.

    Update 10:01 p.m.: A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Osage and Coffey counties until 10:30 p.m.

    Update 9:26 p.m. The tornado warning for Osage County has been cancelled. Severe thunderstorm warnings for Anderson, Coffey, Franklin and Osage counties will be in effect until 9:45 p.m.

    Update 9:10 p.m. A tornado warning has been issued for Osage County until 9:30 p.m. Tornado watches have been issued for the following counties: Brown, Clay, Douglas, Franklin, Geary, Jackson, Jefferson, Lyon, Morris, Nemaha, Osage and Melver.

    Update 8:59 p.m. The tornado warning for Osage County has expired. A flood advisory has been issued for Shawnee County and will be in effect until 12 a.m. Saturday, June 29.

    Update 8:51 p.m.: Flash flood warnings in Geary County has extended until 12:15 a.m. Saturday, June 29.

    Update 8:47 p.m.: A severe thunderstorm warning continues for Osage County until 9:15 p.m. Severe thunderstorm warnings have been cancelled for Shawnee County. The tornado warning for Lyon County has been cancelled.

    Update 8:41 p.m.: A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Douglas, Jefferson and Shawnee Counties until 9:15 p.m. This storm could come with hail and winds of 60 miles per hour.

    Update 8:35 p.m.: A tornado warning has been issued for Osage County until 9:15 p.m.

    Update 8:20 p.m.: A tornado has reportedly touched down 4 miles northeast of Reading.

    Update 8:09 p.m.: A tornado warning has been issued for Lyon and Osage County. It will be in effect until 8:45 p.m.

    Update 7:47 p.m.: A tornado warning has been issued for Lyon County. The tornado warning is in effect until 8:15 p.m.

    TOPEKA ( KSNT ) – Several counties in northeast Kansas have been issued a tornado watch.

    The National Weather Service ( NWS ) has issued a tornado watch for multiple counties in northeast Kansas. This watch will be in effect until 11 p.m.
