Jim Ross Says He Will Be At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door After Recent Trip To ER

Jim Ross is set to be at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door in the aftermath of his recent trip to the emergency room.

Jim Ross missed AEW Double or Nothing due to being hospitalized for a virus , but he said he would be working Forbidden Door on June 30. However, on June 25, he wrote that he was going back to the emergency room for difficulty breathing. This left his status for the pay-per-view unclear.

In a tweet on June 28, Jim Ross wrote that he was flying to New York on Saturday for Forbidden Door.

Ross signed a new contract with AEW earlier in 2024, and he has been working pay-per-views. He has said that 2024 will realistically be his last full year as an announcer.
