Chris Pratt and wife Katherine Schwarzenegger reveal they're expecting baby number three

Katherine Schwarzenegger and Chris Pratt are set to welcome another baby , People confirms.

The couple share two other children, Lyla Maria and Eloise Christina. Their eldest daughter arrived in 2020 which prompted Chris to reflect on his family planning . He opened up to People and said he's open to as "as many [kids] as the man upstairs will provide." He does have a child from his former marriage to Anna Farris, too. His eldest, Jack, was born in 2012.

Chris was hit with quite the scare when Jack arrived. He was born about nine weeks premature which caused a slew of medical woes. His stay in the NICU was crucial as doctors worked to help stop severe brain bleeding.

Anna said during a nonprofit event for Global Alliance to Prevent Prematurity and Stillbirth: "The day came when I got to take Jack home, and the first years were filled with doctor's appointments, five surgeries, physical therapy, a lot of laughter — because Jack was and is the most adorable cutest thing I could ever have imagined."

Since then, Jack has been healthier. Plus, he's a great big brother to his siblings, who he does not share a mother with. "There's a big age separation ... [and] he does a great job, he's so sweet with them. And they love him so much and they miss him when he's gone," Chris told Entertainment Tonight .

Chris and Katherine welcomed their first child together not long after getting married. In a 2020 announcement post, they said: "We are beyond thrilled to announce the birth of our daughter Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt. We couldn't be happier and we feel extremely blessed! Love, Katherine and Chris."

They were relatively private with Lyla. Katherine explained during an appearance on the Today Show that the pair found it important to allow their kids to find their own identity away from the spotlight. The same rang true when they welcomed baby number two in 2022.

"We are so excited to announce the birth of our second daughter, Eloise Christina Schwarzenegger Pratt. We feel beyond blessed and grateful," they wrote on a joint social media post when she arrived. Details on baby three are still forthcoming, but we're wishing them all the best.
