We knew there would be more to come, and now the partnership between WWE and TNA continues as NXT talent invades the Impact Zone.

Read More : Why Jordynne Grace Should Make History

We saw the door open a crack at the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble , when Jordynne Grace took part in the match. She earned rave reviews, and that seemed at the time to be a one-off. Except that it wasn’t. Very recently, the partnership between WWE and TNA got bigger. Grace was once again front and center when Ava Raine introduced her as the challenger to Roxanne Perez at NXT Battleground. But, as we know, it did not end there.

Jordynne Grace issued an open challenge, which was answered by Tatum Paxley. Then, NXT held a #1 contenders battle royal to find the next challenger for Trick Williams. In the field were Joe Hendry and Frankie Kazarian from TNA. Clearly the partnership was well underway, even if so far the TNA talents haven’t had big moments in an NXT ring.

    There’s more!

Well, the partnership continues. At the Friday TNA tapings in Philadelphia, as posted all over social media, NXT had not one, not two, but three Superstars in the house. No Quarter Catch Crew, represented by Charlie Dempsey, showed up. Later on, Izzi Dame arrived to answer another Jordynne Grace open challenge. So yes, NXT invades the Impact Zone.

Some commentary on these arrivals is in order. Of the three from the latest happenings, Dempsey is the biggest name out of NXT. But, you could argue that none of them is anything close to a bigger name. While I understand that maybe WWE does not want a title changing hands with a TNA talent (but they should do it), some bigger names are warranted. Not saying it needs to be Trick Williams, but why not Andre Chase or Ridge Holland or maybe a Nikkita Lyons or Thea Hail. Bigger names, possibly a bit more known than others? Just saying, partnerships don’t last if they are mostly one-sided.
