Do you have your own way of devouring your favorite foods? Does this often cause your closest friends to give you a hard time? If so, you’ll find a kindred spirit here.
Instead of eating his lunch peacefully, this guy had to take some good-natured ribbing from his pals. However, you may quickly come to his defense if you ever had braces or sensitive teeth.
Get ready to laugh! This June 20 video's real gem is the side-splitting comments that accompany it.
It takes a certain kind of person to do something unconventional, even when you know your friends will never let you forget it. Good-natured Chris Klemmer (IG @klemmmmmmmer) embraced this reality when having lunch at Jimmy John’s with his coworkers from @ barstoolsports . Instead of picking up his sub and taking a bite, he ate his with a fork and hands. Although he took care to break off a bite using the wrap and utensil, a piece of meat ended up in his lap. But he doesn’t get him down. Even while he’s taking heat from the table, he breaks off a piece of bread to go with the filling in his mouth, prompting even more comments. When asked why he eats a sandwich this way, he responds, “It makes me happy; it makes me feel good.” Who can argue with that?
According to this article written for Epicurious and several Reddit users, many people share this food phobia . This aversion can either result from a painful previous experience or from potentially having bitten into something unexpected. Having worn braces for several years as a kid, I’m not a fan of biting into many foods, so this is a situation I can empathize with. And there are times I don’t want to end up with a messy sandwich all over my face or my clothes, so whatever reason Chris may have had is good enough for me.
People didn’t hold back their feelings on this dining style, with some commenting that this was an imprisonable offense and others suggesting it’s grounds to lose your job. Viewer @metal_n_que remarked, “Serial killer activities.” Ha! Many agreed with the sentiment. Even @jimmyjohns expressed their concerns, responding, “Everyone back away from the table slowly!” LOL! Viewer @levelupvega defended, “Let the man eat his sandwich however he wants.” I agree. We all have our quirks.
Even though Chris may have his own way of eating his sub, at least he has a good sense of humor. Along with loyalty, these traits are more important than anything else.
