Rumours are flying around Glastonbury that Taylor Swift might make a surprise appearance on Sunday night . Despite the massive hype, fans are likely to be let down.

Festival-goers are guessing that she could appear during The National's headline slot on The Other Stage. Earlier this year, The National collaborated with Swift on the track The Alcott, which is featured on their album, First Two Pages of Frankenstein.

It's speculated she could join them on stage for that song. But despite both Taylor and The National being currently on tour, it seems the speculation is off-target. Taylor will be performing the final night of a three-night run at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin , where she blew fans away on Friday night , that evening. She is set to finish her set around 10.45 pm.

Swift was supposed to headline Glastonbury in 2020 but the event was cancelled due to the COVID pandemic. She is currently the favourite to headline 2025 although Emily Eavis has suggested that next year could be a fallow year - meaning Glastonbury returns in 2026 instead, reports the Mirror .

Her 152-date Eras tour has become the most profitable set of concerts in history. While the National are headlining on the Other Stage, SZA will be making her Glasto debut on the Pyramid stage.

She would have performed at BST Hyde Park the night before in London. Many have raised doubts about SZA's suitability as a headliner, but insiders predict she will be the festival's surprise hit. She was brought in to fill the headline slot after negotiations between Glastonbury and Madonna allegedly fell through.

Saturday night at Glastonbury will see Coldplay perform in a much-anticipated set. Little Simz, The Streets and Orbital are also on the line-up.
