IKEA Has Cheap Temporary Black-Out Blinds & They're a Major Moving Hack

If you've ever moved , then you know the joyful discomfort during the first few days in a new place. It's yours and you're so grateful to finally be in there but it still doesn't 100% feel like home yet. Lucy recently bought a house and one of the things she dreaded was the time she'd have to spend with no privacy and way too much sunshine in the mornings until she could get blinds and curtains up.

However, one of her supporters shared the perfect hack: Temporary blackout blinds from IKEA.

"You can get paper blinds at IKEA... Life changing," the person recommended. The SCHOTTIS blinds actually aren't made of paper although they're thin enough to create that misconception. That said, the suggestion was still on point for those first few days after moving into a new place.
