Will Ospreay hopes to see Ricochet in AEW

Ricochet has left WWE . He was last seen on television when Bron Breakker slammed him against a car, forcing him to leave in an ambulance. He is rumored to have left the company following the expiration of his contract.

During a recent interview with "Shak Wrestling," AEW standout Will Ospreay shared his thoughts on Ricochet potentially signing with the company.

"Listen, I speak to Ricochet every now and again, and there’s nothing been said between us about whether something is going to pop off," Ospreay said. "But honestly, I hope he does. I really, really hope he does because I miss him as a friend. I do think there’s money on the table to do a rematch, but I also think there’s money on the table to do a tag team.”

Ricochet is one of the best high-flyers in the world. WWE often underutilized him and consistently utilized him as a mid-card talent. His wrestling style would strongly fit AEW, giving him more creative freedom within the ring. Ricochet would also have a string of new matches and a potential storyline alongside Ospreay.

AEW won't be the only promotion keen on adding Ricochet to its roster. TNA and New Japan Pro Wrestling will likely extend contract offers. However, AEW gives Ricochet a chance to remain on international television while facing off against elite competition. It would be a smart business move on his part.

Ospreay has previously spoken about his desire to face Ricochet again. A rivalry between the two high-flyers could give AEW the boost it currently needs. Khan must present a clear road map for incorporating him into weekly TV and some genuinely exciting storylines. If he can do both things, AEW will have a strong chance of securing Ricochet's talents for the next few years.
