Here’s When ‘The Family Business’ Season 5 Premieres On BET+

Ernie Hudson is fighting against the family in the trailer for Season 5 of BET+ ‘s Carl Weber’s The Family Business.

Carl Weber’s The Family Business brings the drama once again as Hudson’s character, LC Duncan, is facing the last people he would believe to be his foes–one of his own sons. According to the official synopsis:

The family ties that bind the Duncans have reached the breaking point as the family faces secrets from the past that threaten everything they’ve built. But this time, their enemies are coming from the inside of the family, and they have no one to blame but themselves. As LC, Chippy, and the entire Duncan clan welcome their son, Vegas home, they are disheartened by Junior leaving the family. As LC does whatever it takes to protect Vegas, allies become enemies who devise a plan to overtake The Table. A thief in the night proves to be more than just a random robber, and he leads Rio on a hunt that will change the Duncan family forever. Meanwhile, Paris’s ex, Niles Monroe, reappears unexpectedly with a warning of sweet revenge.

The series also stars Valarie Pettiford, Darrin Henson, Javicia Leslie, Sean Ringgold, Tami Roman, Arrington Foster, Brely Evans, Dylan Weber, Yadi Valerio, Michael Jai White, Bern Nadette Stanis, Ben Stephens and Lisaraye McCoy.

Weber serves as writer and executive produces with Hudson, N.D. Brown and Trey Haley. Ringold also serves as producer with Jeffrey Dumpson, Walter Nixon, Abe Brown, Greg Anderson and Veronica Nichols. Haley directs.

Carl Weber’s The Family Business comes back to BET+ July 4 with two new episodes. A new episode drops each Thursday afterwards through Aug. 29.
